Being a local from Dongchuan, right in the heart of Yunnan province, Anna craves for chilly fries and mouthwatering bowls of fresh rice noodles whenever she is traveling out of the province. She started having an interest for studying foreign languages and cultures when she was in high school, so she chose to study English literature in the northern Chinese city of Dalian. When she came back in the lush and temperate lands of her homeland, she didn’t want to settle for some kind of boring office job which seems to offer security but might turn you into a robot, or an underpaid teaching position. Instead, she decided to follow her passion and rediscover SW China to present it to foreign guests in her own unique way, in which she thrives on the friendships and intercultural understanding that this can bring. Anna guides small private groups throughout the year. Her favorite places are Tengchong and Weishan, but she wants to discover a lot more. Back in Kunming, she manages our client communications and takes care of accounting and operation tasks. If you ever need a sweet and succulent pomelo, ask Anna which one to pick!
